Hi Friends,

On Saturday, December 1st, 2007, The Dangerous Guise fulfilled the request of Dangerous Jim Turley (died Oct '07) to put on a
wake in Jim's honour. First and foremost, The D-Guise wish to thank the many volunteers who made food, served drinks,
greeted guests, cleaned up, you name it...THANK YOU ALL! Thanks also for everyone who came to bid farewell to Jim.
His wake was a beautiful event that felt very warm and yet fun...just the way Jim had asked it to be. What a fitting tribute!

A very large poster of Dangerous Jim was erected on the side of the stage where Jim always sang.

What a great turnout for Jim. The dancefloor was packed almost all night.

Lots of love in the room.

Dangerous Guise really got groovin' early.

Dangerous Gary Hinton has returned to the Dangerous Guise lineup, along with a lot of new R&B songs. Wow! The sound was great, and the crowd was diggin' the new material.

The second half of the night featured many guest musicians. Here, Gray Ford plays guitar on a few numbers.

Dangerous Alumnus, Alex Russo played keyboards and accordian. He led a kickin' version of Jambalaya.

Blair Hayne (15 yrs old) led the band on bass while he wailed on some blues. Deep Groove!

Dangerous Robin and his lovely wife keepin' it real.

Drummers...Sheesh!

Dangerous Terry built a stunning video that played during the break. His wife, Cindy, and her mother put on a great chili lunch. Thanks so much for your hard work.

...and the crowd continued to give 'er!

The Dangerous Guise had a fantastic night of music, and
really enjoyed playing with all the musical guests.

The D-Guise stood together in honour as a recording of Jim was played over the P.A. They took a bow in his honour as well. What a memorable night. Jim will not be forgotten.
